About Kanpur.

Kanpur located on the banks of River Ganga, is one of the main historic cities of Uttar Pradesh. The city is famous for its leather and textile industries. It is believed that this city was founded by Raja Hindusi Singh of the Sankandi state. Kanpur’s original name was Kanhpur.
